Large Scalloped Pendant Light

Description:

A large scalloped or ribbed pendant lampshade, that was originally made in Italy in the 1960s. Following full refurbishment, the lampshade is pristinely presented in an assortment of carefully selected natural materials.

The central drum is parchment, trimmed with French grosgrain, and the corrugated outer is upholstered in a lightly textured linen cotton material. All fabrics and thread’s are in a warm off-white colour.

Each of the two pendants that are currently available hang on pure brass chain made up of rectangles with circular connecting rings. These simple geometric shapes echo the semicircles that repeat all the way around the ribbed exterior of the shade.

The applied geometry, softness of materials, and the design's overall subtlety result in a light with an air of classicism.

Current total drop, 212 cm. Any larger or shorter drop can be accommodated.
