Elongated Tree Trunk Table Carl Auböck

Description

A vintage mid-twentieth century Tree Trunk Table from the Werkstätte Carl Auböck in Vienna, Austria.

This exquisite example of Carl Auböck II's design from circa. 1950 showboats a solid piece of walnut wood. Securely screwed into the chunk of sculptural wood are three slender brass poles capped with black rubber feet.

Each brass leg is stamped with a number and 'Made in Austria'.

The table is structurally sound and the top boasts a rich patina which emphasises the allure of the interesting grain of the wood.
