Lovö' Table Axel Einar Hjorth

Description

'Lovö' table designed by Axel Einar Hjorth for Nordiska Kompaniet in 1931.
A minimal design consisting of two trestles, connected with mortice and tenon joints by a stretcher, and supporting the table top. The latter is made of 2.5 cm thick planks of pine assembled in two layers.
Of a light blonde colour, with the pine grain very evident, the piece is in excellent condition.
