Description:

A pair of glazed stoneware candle sconces designed by Einar Johansen during the 1960s for Søholm Keramik. 

This pair of diamond shaped candle sconces are glazed in a rich brown. This earthen-coloured glaze is disrupted by an incised geometric border, the recesses of which capture the most vivid, almost iridescent, flashes of cobalt blue glaze.

Stamped: On reverse with model number "3351" and Søholm stamp.
