Whitework Embroidery Light
1970s

£2,800

A linen ceiling light with whitework embroidery.

The centrepiece of this unusually shallow linen chandelier is the whitework embroidery that adorns the main circular panel, which is backlit by the three bulbs behind. The geometric, lace-like style of the whitework embroidery also manipulates the linen fabric, moving fibres aside to create tiny spaces where the light can shine through.

The light has been fully rewired to UK standard and will need to be mains wired, the drop can be altered at client's request.
