Description:

Cast brass bottle opener by the Auböck Werkstatte, Vienna circa 1960.
The piece is shaped as a coin to which the actual bottle opener is attached: on one side of the coin stands out in relief the image of Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor right profile with the inscription 'CAROLUS VI:D.G.:ROM.IMP.SEMP.AUG:'; on the underside of the coin, there is a different inscription and the image of an ancient port with two ships in the background.
Impressed with the Auböck stamp.
In overall very good conditions.
