'G' Hook #4331-2
Werkstätte Carl Auböck

£278

Description:

A ‘G’ shaped hook in solid brass designed and made by the Auböck workshop, Vienna, Austria. The design was conceived by the second Carl Auböck circa 1960, however the hook is today made by the workshop’s fourth and fifth generation, Auböck IV and V. It is still possible for the present-day Carl’s to make this piece as the family are still in possession of the original positive mold used for sand-casting.

The fact that the brass shape simply clasps onto a bar means the available hook can be repositioned at any point. As can be seen in the photographs, the hook can be used on the Carl Auböck Wall Mounted Wardrobe but, of course, a similar apparatus would work also.
