'Näyttely High sideboard by Carl-Gustaf Hiort . Rarely seen sideboard from the Näyttely series that also includes the strong dining table and sought after armchairs with a woven leather back. There are strong brutalist references in the design which reflects its age and skill of Carl-Gustaf Hiort av Ornäs. Coming from the strong Finnish tradition of design it represents a different direction to the organic bends and curves of Alvar Aalto, while still keeping a distinct Finnish feel. A strong, yet elegant frame and doors hold a generous amount of storage. The left and right compartments host deep shelves, whilst the central compartment has a mixture of shelving and three simple and sleek drawers.
