A brass and crystal '68' chandelier designed by Lisa Johansson-Pape during the 1940s for lighting manufacture Stockmann Orno, Finland.
A classical, cut-crystal chandelier with modernist flair. A design of contradiction, this chandelier contrasts tubular brass against cascading brass tendrils brimming with cut-crystal leaves and round, reflective spheres.
These glass elements hang above three, inverted, conical, glass shades. These thin glass shades, in a light, almost butter-yellow, perfectly illuminate the hanging crystals above and warmly diffuse the surrounding light.
This light has been fully rewired to UK standard.
