Pair of Oak Bookcases Børge Mogensen

Description

A pair of bookcases designed by Børge Mogensen circa 1954. Manufactured by cabinetmaker C.M. Madsens for FDB.

The bookcases' tops, flanks, fronts and shelves are constructed of solid wood and veneered in oiled oak. The shelves are all easily adjustable/removable. Both bookcases stand, sturdily, on distinctive sculpted oak legs.

Each unit stamped with cabinet maker's mark and that of the FDB.
